Article 1

National non-public use real estate currently being used as existing dormitories of organizations, troops, and schools shall be subject to the following:

(1)       For those located in prosperous areas, the assigning agency shall collect and deliver the real estate to the National Property Administration of the Ministry of Finance for processing according to the law. No appropriation shall be allowed except for particular requirements.

(2)       For those located in non-prosperous areas, the real estate shall be processed according to the existing laws and regulations as soon as possible. For unified management and use, the original assigning agency shall make the appropriation in accordance with the procedures.

Article 2

National non-public use real estate intended for dormitory use may not be appropriated. However, this shall not apply to any of the following items:

(1)   Those provided to schools above the level of public high schools for constructing student dormitories.

(2)       Those provided to organizations, troops, or schools for constructing dormitories or camps for shifts by rotation and duty execution.

(3)       Those provided to organizations or schools for constructing Agency Head Quarters as approved by responsible central authorities or provincial (city) governments.

(4)       Those approved by the Executive Yuan under special cases.
