Article 1
The lease payment standards are calculated based on the aquaculture area and type, as described below:
1. In rocky areas for fish, shellfish, and other aquaculture:
(1) Grade 1: Cultivating abalones, lobsters, etc., the annual payment is 60 kilograms per hectare.
(2) Grade 2: Cultivating groupers, snappers, etc., the annual payment is 80 kilograms per hectare.
(3) Grade 3: Cultivating other fish and shellfish, the annual payment is 60 kilograms per hectare.
(4) Grade 4: Cultivating economic seaweeds such as seaweeds, green laver, and sea grapes, the annual payment is 30 kilograms per hectare.
2. Annual payment for extensive aquaculture in inland fish ponds (graded based on the conversion of mullet):
(1) Grade 1: 30 kilograms per hectare per year.
(2) Grade 2: 25 kilograms per hectare per year.
(3) Grade 3: 20 kilograms per hectare per year.
Article 2
Criteria for recognizing small-scale aquaculture operators:
In rocky reef areas: three hectares or less; in extensive aquaculture areas of inland fish ponds: three hectares or less.
Article 3
Benefits granted to small-scale aquaculture operators:
For the first three years, rent is reduced by 40%; from the fourth year, rent is reduced by 20% for two years; from the sixth year, the preferential treatment will cease.
